Who Are Nudists ?
Doctors, teachers, construction workers, lawyers, dispatchers, truck drivers, police officers, secretaries, firefighters ... Anyone and everyone! Your colleague at work, or the family next door, may spend their leisure time at a camp affiliated with the internationally recognized American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR).

Things You Should Know
Clubs have rules which vary in minor degrees. However, the general rules are relatively simple, relying basically on common sense. You are expected to look after your children, and conduct yourself as you would in any family environment. Be clothed when practical, unclothed when possible. Always bring a towel to sit on, and possibly another to dry off with after the pool or hot tub. It may be a good idea to pack sunglasses, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes.

On this site you will find links to all of the clubs in the eastern region of AANR. Call, or write, the clubs you are interested in for further information about facilities, prices, food, pets, hours, etc. Everyone should always phone ahead before visiting. Travel clubs, those that do not have permanent facilities, usually schedule visits to landed clubs as well as have events at members' homes and public lands where available. Some even have clothed events. Annual membership fees, and day fees, or ground fees vary from club to club.

Grounds
There are over 250 landed and non-landed clubs in the United States and Canada affiliated with the American Association for Nude Recreation. These clubs take on the flavor of their locale and the personalities of their members. Landed clubs vary from rustic campgrounds to full-service resorts, from a few acres to several hundred. Clubs are often far apart, yet it is not unusual for two clubs to exist within a few miles of each other. And all thrive because of the facilities and intangibles they each offer. There is a club to please most tastes.
Recreation
Sports are as much a part of the nudist lifestyle as sunbathing. Volleyball, tennis, shuffleboard, ping pong, paddleball, and of course, swimming, can be found at most landed clubs. Many have spas and saunas. There are also dances, parties, dinners, and special events.
Since we are family oriented, there are numerous children's activities which may include Easter egg hunts, Halloween parties, and pudding fights.
Food
A snack bar / restaurant is available at most clubs.
Restrooms / Showers
Rest rooms and showers are always available at landed clubs.
Lodging Facilities
Some clubs have cabins, trailers, or other facilites for visitors to rent. If you have a camper or trailer, some clubs offer hook-ups to electricity, water, and sewer. All landed clubs have tent areas.
Special Events
Regional conventions and the AANR national convention are scheduled annually to bring members together in an atmosphere of congeniality and athletic competition.
