Joining the lure of whitewater rapids, African safaris, and scuba diving in exotic locations, AANR-East representatives invited visitors at the Washington, D.C. Adventures in Travel show to explore the adventure of personal growth and visit the beautiful AANR Clubs and nude beaches.

For the third year, the AANR-East booth was a focal point for laughter, fun and sharing, as volunteers presented, "the vacation you don't have to pack for!"  This suggestion inevitably raised chuckles from those passing, many of whom came over to admire the exhibit, pick up brochures, and learn more about the experience of nude recreation.

Staffed by volunteers from Washington, D.C. area clubs, the AANR-East exhibit conveys the message of social family nude recreation in a collage of colorful images and animated faces. The booth also contained a computer display of visual images from various AANR-East Clubs compiled by Jody Roy of Avalon from photos supplied by the Roving Ambassadors and various AANR-East Clubs.

Among the "giveaways" available at the booth were Frisbees, pens, plastic cups, emery boards, and pins. There were also some day passes provided by Avalon to give to the most interested visitors to the booth.

Other exhibitors welcomed the AANR-East booth as a popular draw among the crowded exhibit hall at the Washington Convention Center. Show coordinators noted that this booth is one of the most popular and a welcome addition to the show which draws thousands of people annually.
