On the Road in Southern California COLTON, CA—In all of our travels we’ve visited many nudist resorts and clubs that claim to be family oriented. Some do a better job than others of backing those claims up. In southern California there are several options for nude recreation. Deciding which one is right for you can be a tough choice so we visited several and one stood out above the others. Olive Dell Ranch in Colton, CA is just over an hour drive from the LA area and minutes from San Bernardino. What stood out in our minds after three days there is that Olive Dell is the epitome of what a family nudist resort should be. During the weekend we met Bobby & Becki, second generation nudists that now run ODR and we could tell that the endless chores that are a part of their daily tasks isn’t just their job, it’s their passion, their lives. The results show in the well-deserved pride they take in it too. The entire staff has the same great attitude that will make you feel welcomed from the minute you arrive. The amenities are plentiful too. From the well maintained pool & hot tub to the hiking trails to the café with its wonderful food to the club house you’ll be able to find something to fill your days. And if ODR looks familiar it might be because it is where much of the movie ‘Act Naturally’ was filmed. What sets ODR apart from the other clubs in the area was the attitude of staff and the members. It’s not just that they’re friendly, but it’s the pride they all share in Olive Dell Ranch. It’s easy to see why too.
