DECATUR, TX—My wife and I are lucky, we get paid a decent salary to drive around the country for our job and we usually have time to enjoy the sights as we go. As much as possible, we like to spend our down time at nudist resorts. So far we’ve been to almost 40 resorts & beaches around the US. I’d like to share our experience with you.

They say that everything is bigger in Texas. That’s definitely true for the hospitality at Wildwood Naturist's Resort in Decatur. Located a short drive from the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, Wildwood offers the usual amenities you’ll find at most nudist resorts; rental cabins, RV spaces, tent camping sites, a couple of pools, hot tub, hiking/running trails, and a club house. Yet Wildwood stands above many other resorts. It’s not the second pool, it’s not the spectacular club house with a well equipped game room. What makes Wildwood so special is the people. From the office staff to the members, they make you feel as welcomed as if they have known you for years.

If you’re ever in the DFW area, you owe it to yourself to visit Wildwood. We went five hours out of our way to make our second visit to Wildwood. Most nudist resorts have nice people, but Wildwood takes care of theirs, and they really take care of guests. Just stop by the weekly potluck dinner on a Saturday night and you’ll see what I mean.
