AANR Bulletin staff writer Pete Williams has co-authored a new fitness book—Core Performance Women—with Mark Verstegen, a noted trainer and performance coach who trains many top pro athletes at his Athletes' Performance training center in Phoenix, AZ.

Core Performance Women is the fifth book in their Core Performance series and the most comprehensive. Though women have enjoyed the previous books, the newest release is specifically tailored for them. Verstegen popularized the concept of "core" training: strengthening the shoulder, hip, and midsection for better overall strength and to help prevent injuries and long-term deterioration. Core Performance Women is designed to burn fat and create lean muscle. It also includes an easy-to-follow nutrition program and a simple, three-day-a-week workout plan that can be done in just 30 minutes a day. The book is available at Amazon.com.
