News  from the President—Elections

With the arrival of spring comes the AANR and AANR-East Election Season.  Two ballots will arrive at your home for these elections: the AANR ballot will come with your May Bulletin and the AANR-East ballot will arrive via mail in early to mid April.  I encourage all of you to let your voice be heard by voting for the candidates that will best serve our members.

AANR-East is proud to have several very qualified candidates running in the national AANR elections.  Each candidate has served in an elected position within AANR-East and are individuals that I fully endorse:

Susan Weaver is our current AANR President and she is running for re-election.  A tireless leader, President Weaver placed her own life on hold while working as both the President and Acting Executive Director while helping with the search for a new Executive Director.  Under her presidency, AANR’s website was upgraded to better suit the needs of our members, Poolside Chats were begun, tremendous changes have taken place in Public Relations, and the term “Nakation” has become a global household word. 

Bob Roche, owner of White Tail Resort, is running for Vice President of AANR.  Bob is a former AANR-East President with noteworthy management, fiscal, and business experience that, paired with his long-time nudist experience, make him the ideal candidate for Vice President.  Bob has earned recognition as Man of the Year, Member of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement Awards due to his noble service to our organization.

Mary Williamson, the current Secretary-Treasurer of AANR-East, is running for the position of AANR Secretary.  Within her current role in AANR-East, Mary has proven to be the heart of our organization.  She selflessly gives of her time, energy, and resources without breaks or complaining.  Mary is loved by the youth of our region as she assists with the Youth Camps and has gained the respect of the adults by attending to every detail of our organization meticulously.  AANR could have no better secretary that Mary.

Pam Pelc, and Peg Kercher and Robert Roche are running for Club Trustees of AANR.  All three candidates have been deeply devoted to nudism for many years and have been active in AANR-East.  Pam has previously served as a Roving Ambassador, which allowed her people skills and passion for members to shine.  She has served on National Committees previously as a currently-elected Trustee.  Peg Kercher has served as Chair and Co-Chair of several committees within AANR-East and has served as a delegate at numerous national conventions.  Bob has been a successful club owner in Virginia for over 25 years while serving the region in many capacities including president, vice president and trustee on the national board. Pam, Peg and Bob have strong business and leadership skills which, paired with their great passion for AANR and nudism, making them ideal candidates for AANR Club Trustee.
