Whispering Pines Nudist Resort and Campgrounds is only 30 miles from the famed Myrtle Beach. We were so busy relaxing during our visit to Whispering Pines that we did not even bother going to the coast. We did take a short ride one day to have dinner in Calabash, NC, famous for its seafood. Otherwise, we relaxed by the pool with the friendly folks enjoying both sun and shade. Having had our quota of sunshine, we settled in the breezy shade.

The gardenia bushes were in full bloom at the park. The smell of gardenias was a pleasant accompaniment as I took my morning walks. Their beauty was a further incentive to get out and get that daily exercise.

Everyone we spoke to at the park raved about all the improvements that new owners, John and Jill Frick have made. The newly-painted pool looked great. Stakes were out showing where the large deck addition was about to be installed. Make a trip to this lovely club in eastern North Carolina and see for yourself.
